Promise made- Promise kept trump administration

Us Desk, Delhi Magazine: In a series of major health-focused initiatives, President Donald J. Trump highlighted what his administration describes as strong progress toward building a healthier America.

One of the key steps included signing the Whole Milk for Healthy Kids Act into law, restoring nutritious whole and 2% milk in American schools — a move aimed at improving children’s access to wholesome food options.

The administration also released updated dietary guidelines that prioritize whole, nutrient-dense foods over heavily processed products. Officials say the goal is to encourage healthier eating habits nationwide and combat diet-related illnesses.

In the area of prescription drugs, negotiations with major pharmaceutical companies have led to agreements intended to lower medication prices for Americans. Through the launch of TrumpRx.gov, patients are expected to access medicines at prices aligned with the lowest paid by other developed nations under the “Most-Favored-Nation” model.

The administration further announced that approximately 35% of the American food industry — including major corporations — agreed to remove artificial dyes from their products, marking what supporters call a significant step toward cleaner food standards.

On vaccines, the Department of Health and Human Services revised childhood vaccine recommendations and removed COVID-19 vaccines from the list recommended for healthy children and pregnant women, describing the changes as part of an updated consensus approach.

Rural healthcare also received attention, with $50 billion secured to strengthen rural hospitals, modernize facilities, and expand healthcare access in underserved communities.

Additionally, 18 SNAP waivers were signed to improve access to nutritious food options, and dozens of states have advanced legislation supporting the broader “Make America Healthy Again” agenda.

Supporters say these efforts reflect a commitment to delivering on campaign promises and prioritizing the health and well-being of American families.
