HC Ordered Investigation Against GB Pant Hospital’s Employees for Cheating a DU Student

Delhi Desk, Delhi Magazine: The Punjab and Haryana High Court has ordered a CBI or SIT to investigate the matter in the case of cheating two employees working in GB Pant Hospital in Delhi with a contract of getting treatment for a student studying in Delhi University.  Along with this, the Faridabad Police Commissioner has been asked to file an affidavit regarding the report of the investigation done so far. The hearing of the case will take place on August 20. Questioning the police investigation, the victim had approached the High Court alleging negligence.

Ishita Bhati, daughter of Sunil Kumar, resident of village Kaurali Ballabgarh, studies in DU. He is suffering from stomach ailment. He is being treated at a private hospital here. The doctor suggested her to have a bowel operation. Due to the cost of the operation, he went to GB Pant Hospital Delhi with his daughter.

They allege that Ajay Pandey and Jitendra Pandey, employees working in the surgical department in the hospital, duped 4.13 lakh by taking the contract to conduct the operation. He did not do the operation. In this case, the Tigaon police had registered a case on June 18. But the accused were not arrested. The anticipatory bail petition of the accused has also been rejected by the district court.
