The screen star candidly talks about one of the most important days of her life with her husband Francois-Henri Pinault. The wife of the French billionaire admitted that on the day of the wedding she was supported by her family, as she was worried walking down the aisle.
Previously, Salma turned down two proposals from Pino after three years of relationship. And during her recent Glamor interview, the actress said she went through “interference” before finally tying the knot on Valentine’s Day in 2009.
The celebrity admitted that she did not know if she would make it, but, in the end, it was her family members who helped her get to the courthouse.
“They just took me to court. My parents, my brother, they all rallied against me. I had a marriage phobia,” Hayek admits.

The Eternals star also admitted she was “nervous” and added that she “said yes to marriage” but wasn’t sure if she would actually show up that day or if she would.
François-Henri Pinault was also nervous, and Salma was relieved when she learned that they had had a similar experience. In April of the same year, they played a second wedding with their closest friends and family members.
The couple now have a 15-year-old daughter, Valentina, and celebrate two wedding anniversaries each year.
The 56-year-old actress revealed that she has become friends with her co-stars, who play various strippers. As a result, her husband, French businessman Francois-Henri Pinault, also began to communicate with the cast.

“My husband is not a jealous person. I used to call him all the time [from the set] and say, ‘Oh my God, I feel so bad,’ because I had a predisposition for what stripper guys would be like. But they are not like that. They’re cute. They’re such great guys. And [my husband] says, “Oh my God, you’re becoming best friends with the strippers, aren’t you?” And I said, “Yeah!”
Then, as Salma clarified, her husband came to the set.
“There was one person who came and asked him for business advice. He spoke French and knew everything about François. He says, ‘I’m a big fan’. He reacted more to François than to me!”
The famous actress also spoke about the party at her house when filming ended.
“By the end of the movie, they all came to my house. They all hung out with me. Then François said, ‘You’re right, they’re adorable, they’re beautiful.’
Hayek Pino also shared her impressions of working with 42-year-old actor Channing Tatum.
“He looks like a gentleman from the south, and he cares. Because he is so cool, stupid and funny. He can be like that. Or he can also be very smart, assertive and focused,” the star emphasized.
