Rohtak City – An Educational City, A Rich and Beautiful City in Haryana, India

No doubt, Rohtak is one of the best cities in Haryana. It is located in the middle of Haryana State in India. It is also known as educational city due to MDU, RohtakIIMR, as well PGIMS, Rohtak.

But in 2016, Rohtak became world famous due to Jat Strikes, There were some morons from Jat community, who majorly destroyed the good reputation of this city. But due to support of the other community and some good people from Jat community Rohtak city gained its good reputation once again within few months.  Wrestler Sangram Singh also belong to Madina Village in Rohtak.
Rohtak is also known for Shakshi Malik.

Janta Colony is the biggest colony in Rohtak, and covers majorly areas from Railway station to Sunaria Village,  As well as from Nayi Anaj Mandi( New Grain Market) to Shivaji Colony. Vaish Education Complex also located in Janta colony, Rohtak.

Ramnagar Colony, Sher Vihar Colony, Hari Nagar Colony are near Jhajjar Chungi. Lal Bahadur Shasti Nagar is situated near Rohtak Hissar Bypass. LPS, Rohtak, and Navbharat Automobile are also  located in the same Industrial area of Rohtak.

RainakPura, Hasan, Rajiv Nagar, and Ganga Market, Chotu Ram Nagar are in outer side of Rohtak City, near Jind – Rohtak Railway Track.

Rohtak’s Shori Market is one of the most famous cloth market in Asia. Rohtak Railway station is also one of the most busy railway station in Haryana.

Rohtak’s ancient Shiv Mandir also can be seen from Railway Station.

There are some other famous temples in Rohtak also like: Durga Bawan Mandir, near Bhiwani Stands.

Some other beautiful Localities in Rohtak cites are, Arya Nagar, Chotu Ram Chowk, Shastri Nagar, Gandhi Nagar Camp, Chawla Colony, Jagdish Colony, Chinyot colony.

Railway Road and Killa Road Market are the most busy market in Rohtak. It’s not easy to cross Killa Road Market in Rohtak at the time of any occasion such as Diwali.

Shauri Market in Rohtak:
Shori Market, Rohtak market is one of the Asia’s largest textile market. Especially women like to shop for weddings here. Shauri Market was founded in 1952 by the then Deputy Commissioner of Rohtak, Arun Shourie. The shopkeepers who came to Rohtak after partition were allotted 87 shops here and their number is more than fifteen hundred today.
Rohtak has all the means of fun and pleasure.
