International Day of Protest Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trade Celebrated in Rohtak

Country Desk, Delhi Magazine: On the occasion of International Day of Protest Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trade (26 June), a cycle rally was organized by Bal Bhawan Rohtak in association with Rohtak Bicycling Club. This cycle rally was started from the premises of Bal Bhawan, Rohtak. The purpose of this day is to get rid of drugs at the international level and to bring empowerment in the society.

rohtakOn this day various organizations take a pledge to end this menace and insist on peacefully solving the challenges of drugs and trafficking. Their basic principle is to protect the youth and promote the welfare of mankind. The members of Rohtak Bicycling Club in Bal Bhavan complex told the children about the ill effects of drugs and motivated them to stay away from drugs.

bal bhawan rohtak staff at cycle rally  On this occasion, Dr Lalita Malik told that some emotional and social needs of children are not fulfilled due to which they go towards drugs, parents teachers of children sometimes do not pay attention to their emotional and social needs due to any reason. Or else they get such an atmosphere that they go in the wrong direction. As a responsible citizen it is our responsibility if we have to take this country forward or take the future of this country forward, then we have to save the children of our country from this disease called drugs.

On this occasion other members of Rohtak Bicycling Club also expressed their views and motivated the children. Harish Wadhwa, Arun Arora, Pawan Bhatia, Harish Kadian, Dr. Lalita Malik, Hrithik Kaushik, Dhruv Manchanda, Mohit Arora on behalf of Rohtak Bicycling Club , Pankaj Chawla, Jatin Malik, Sahil Manocha, Himesh, Prince Dhir, Aditya Jangra, Ravindra Singh, Jitendra Mehra, Deepak Girdhar, Gaurav Juneja participated in this rally. More than 30 cyclists participated in this event. Program Officer Anita Kumari and other staff of Bal Bhavan were present on this occasion.
