A case of love jihad has been reported in Ballabhgarh, Faridabad. Here, cousin of Aftab Alam, Congress MLA from Nuh, shot and killed a 21-year-old girl returning from college. The family alleges that the boy was pressurizing his daughter to convert to marry. Two years ago, he tried to kidnap the girl and the police knew this too.
Nikita Tomar, who scored 95 percent marks in the school, who dreamed of an Air Force, was shot and killed on Monday. The accusation came against Tousif, a young man from Nuh, who had been Nikita’s former classmate and kidnapped Nikita once in 2018. Tausif came to kidnap Nikita on the previous day too, but after failing in his plan, Nikita was shot and escaped and Nikita was killed.
The accused Tausif is a resident of Khanpur village in Mewat district, but has been living in Sohna for many years.
Tausif’s grandfather Kabir Ahmed is a former MLA. Cousin Aftab Alam is currently a Congress MLA from Nuh seat in Mewat district. Aftab’s father Khurshid Ahmed has been a minister in the Haryana government. Tausif’s close uncle Javed Ahmed has contested from the Sohna assembly seat on a BSP ticket.
