nasa spaceX crew 13

Washington, October 2, 2026: NASA’s SpaceX Crew-13 mission has successfully reached the International Space Station (ISS), bringing four new crew members aboard the orbital laboratory.

According to NASA, the Crew-13 Dragon spacecraft docked with the ISS on October 1 following its launch from Florida. The mission marks another major step in NASA’s ongoing human-spaceflight operations and scientific research aboard the station.

The Crew-13 team includes NASA astronauts Jessica Watkins and Luke Delaney, Canadian Space Agency astronaut Joshua Kutryk, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Sergey Teteryatnikov. The crew arrived aboard SpaceX’s Dragon spacecraft and joined the astronauts and cosmonauts already living and working on the station.

With the arrival of Crew-13, the ISS crew has expanded to 11 people. The newly arrived astronauts will begin station familiarization and take over mission responsibilities alongside the existing crew.

NASA also said that preparations are underway for the return of the previous Crew-12 mission. A formal handover between Crew-12 and Crew-13 is scheduled as part of the transition before Crew-12 members head back to Earth.

During their mission, Crew-13 members are expected to support scientific experiments, station maintenance, technology demonstrations and human-spaceflight research.
