Capital Desk, Delhi Magazine: Delhi Chief Minister Atishi is set to move into the bungalow at 6, Flagstaff Road starting Monday, according to official sources. This residence was recently vacated by her predecessor, Arvind Kejriwal, who relocated to a new residence in Lutyens’ Delhi.
Officials reported that the personal belongings of Chief Minister Atishi are currently being moved to the new bungalow. After becoming a minister in the Kejriwal government last year, Atishi was initially allotted a bungalow at AB-17, Mathura Road.
Arvind Kejriwal, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener, vacated the Flagstaff Road bungalow in Civil Lines last Friday, following his resignation as Chief Minister in September. His new address is 5, Ferozshah Road, near Mandi House, which has now been allotted to AAP’s Rajya Sabha member from Punjab, Ashok Mittal.
Previously, Atishi resided with her parents in Kalkaji, South Delhi. Meanwhile, former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, who had been living in the AB-17 bungalow, vacated the residence last week. He has now moved into the residence allotted to Rajya Sabha member Harbhajan Singh on RP Road, officials confirmed.
