Haryana State Level Swimming Competition Witnesses Thrilling Events on Second Day

The state-level swimming competition at Champions Aquatic Academy in HL City saw an action-packed second day with swimmers from Jhajjar district dominating the events. Haryana Swimming Association General Secretary Anil Khatri honored the winners with medals.

Highlight Performances:

Group 2 Butterfly Event: Aryan Joon (Jhajjar) emerged victorious.
Breaststroke Event: Jaywardhan Rao (Jhajjar) and Priyanshi (Jhajjar) won in their respective categories.

200 Meter Butterfly:

Women’s Category: Lakshita (Faridabad) secured first place, followed by Mohini (Jhajjar) and Pranjal (Sonipat).
Men’s Category: Harsh (Sonipat), Pawan (Jhajjar), and Darsh (Faridabad) took the top three positions.

100 Meter Breaststroke:

Girls: Zoya (Gurugram) claimed first place, with Shivanshi (Sonipat) second and Gaurika (Ambala) third.
Boys: Saurabh (Karnal) came first, followed by Jaywardhan Rao (Jhajjar) and Yudhveer (Panchkula).

Girls’ 100 Meter Breaststroke: Samia (Gurgaon) came first, Priyanshi (Jhajjar) second, and Ayana (Gurgaon) third.
Boys’ 200 Meter Breaststroke: Keshav (Faridabad) secured first place, Nishant (Gurgaon) second, and Rohit (Jhajjar) third.
Girls’ 200 Meter Breaststroke: Priyanshi (Jhajjar) took first place, with Suhani and Ayana (both from Gurgaon) in third.

Freestyle and Butterfly Events:

Boys’ 800 Meter Freestyle: Darsh (Faridabad) clinched first place, with Rohit and Veer (Jhajjar) in second and third.
Girls’ 800 Meter Freestyle: Lakshita (Faridabad) came first, followed by Ilisha (Gurgaon) and Harshika (Palwal).
Boys’ 50 Meter Butterfly: Mohit (Faridabad) secured first place, with Shirsh (Gurgaon) second and Ayanveer (Sonepat) third.
Girls’ 50 Meter Butterfly: Prapti (Gurgaon) came first, Kaisha second, and Priyanshi (Jhajjar) third.
12 to 14 Age Group Butterfly: Aryan (Jhajjar), Anant (Gurugram), and Adish (Rohtak) won in the boys’ category. Stuti, Avni (Gurugram), and Pranjal (Sonipat) won in the girls’ category.
10 to 11 Age Group Butterfly: Keshav (Palwal) won first place for boys, with Agamjeet (Ambala) second and Ujjwal (Palwal) third. Among girls, Stuti, Aashna (Sonipat), and Hriddhi (Gurugram) secured the top three positions.

200 Meter Freestyle:

Boys: Ramanujan (Ambala) came first, Rudraksh (Palwal) second, and Manan (Panipat) third.
Girls: Pawani (Ambala) took first place, followed by Amaira (Gurugram) and Poorvi (Jhajjar).

50 Meter Backstroke:

Men’s Category: Arjun (Gurugram) secured first place, Bholendra and Daksh (Jhajjar) came second and third.
Women’s Category: Bharti (Sonipat) took first place, with Moni (Jhajjar) second and Yamini (Hisar) third.

100 Meter Butterfly:

Boys: Aryan (Jhajjar), Adish (Rohtak), and Devansh (Palwal) secured the top three positions.
Girls: Stuti (Gurugram), Avni, and Pranjal (Sonipat) won.

The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from swimmers and was attended by international wrestlers Mahendra Khatri, Suresh Joon, Ravi Singari, Amit Joon, Anil Dhul, and a large number of sports fans and family members.
