Crime Desk, Delhi Magazine: The mysterious death of former One Direction singer Liam Payne continues to capture media attention weeks after the incident. On October 16, Payne, 31, fell from the third floor of the Casa Sur hotel in Buenos Aires. According to investigators, he fell without a reflexive defensive posture, suggesting he was in a state of semi- or complete unconsciousness. His hotel room was reportedly trashed, with signs of alcohol and drug use.
Payne died immediately from his injuries, making resuscitation impossible. Inside his room, authorities found a bottle of whiskey, cocaine, and clonazepam, a medication for anxiety and seizure prevention. Reports indicate Payne spent his final hours with escorts, despite having no means to pay them or buy drugs after Universal Music ended their contract with him, blocking his credit card.
Page Six recently added that Payne allegedly sent explicit, unsolicited photos and videos to his ex-girlfriend, Maya Henry, and her family before his death. These included lewd images and videos of himself and intimate visuals of Henry. Her lawyers sent Payne a cease-and-desist letter on October 9, asking him to stop sending these disturbing messages to her family.
