Q1. Tell me about your background and journey.
I have been working in the hospitality industry for over 20 years now and have worked with leading hotel chains including the Oberoi, Taj Group of Hotels and Radisson Group. I also had a stint abroad where I was heading a Business hotel in the southern part of the Sultanate of Oman. I have been with Novotel Goa Dona Sylvia resort since the beginning of January 2021.
Q2. What are the challenges you faced so far?
I would not like to call it Challenges, rather opportunities and there have been many. The hospitality industry continues to adapt itself continually towards the changing business environment and being part of this change has been exciting. The opportunities are similar in all hotels and resorts and each of us continually find ways to continue to enhance revenue, optimize costs and enhance guest satisfaction besides ensuring we continually upgrade not only our product but also our services.
Q3. Any specific future goal you have?
Currently my objective is to make the Novotel Goa Dona Sylvia Resort the most preferred Wedding and Events resort in South Goa.
