Loop Fashion Week New Delhi Edition to Unite Indian Heritage, Artisan Craft and Contemporary Fashion

NEW DELHI: Loop Fashion Week will host its New Delhi Edition tomorrow, Sunday, September 20, 2026, bringing together sustainable fashion, Indian heritage, traditional craftsmanship, wearable storytelling and contemporary design through an outdoor runway experience.

The event, scheduled from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM at Jayshree Studio Farm, Bakhtawarpur, New Delhi, is designed around a concept that combines fashion with cultural storytelling, textile traditions, sustainability and contemporary design.

Positioned as a sustainable and concept-based outdoor runway, Loop Fashion Week aims to move beyond the conventional fashion-show format by creating runway environments inspired by nature, culture, craftsmanship and design narratives.

Sindhu Ghati Village-Inspired Runway

One of the key highlights of the New Delhi edition will be a specially created Sindhu Ghati Village-inspired runway and design environment for artisan designer Irfan Abdullah.

Abdullah will present a collection inspired by the Sindhu Ghati Sabhyata (Indus Valley Civilisation), featuring textiles and the traditional Ajrakh printing craft.

The specially designed runway environment will complement the collection’s historical and cultural narrative, creating a visual connection between ancient textile traditions and contemporary fashion presentation.

Designers and Collections

The New Delhi edition will feature a diverse lineup of Indian designers, traditional artisans and international fashion labels.

Irfan Abdullah — Artisan Designer
Irfan Abdullah will showcase a Sindhu Ghati Sabhyata-inspired collection featuring textiles and Ajrakh print. His presentation will be accompanied by the specially created Sindhu Ghati Village-inspired runway concept, designed to reflect the historical and cultural influences behind the collection.

Sonali — Founder, Khwahish – Ek Chahat, India
Sonali will present an Indian ethnic collection inspired by Indian aesthetics, traditional silhouettes and cultural expression, bringing elements of India’s traditional fashion language into a contemporary runway setting.

Khalid Ameen Khatri — Artisan
Representing a 400-year-old family tradition of Ajrakh craftsmanship, Khalid Ameen Khatri will present his collection “Jangal.” The collection brings an ancestral textile practice and traditional Ajrakh craftsmanship into a contemporary fashion environment.

Englady
Englady will showcase sustainable Western wear and luxury fashion, exploring contemporary silhouettes and design through a sustainability-focused approach.

Sons of Sun — Egypt
The Egyptian label Sons of Sun will present a collection inspired by Egyptian history, bringing an international cultural perspective to the New Delhi runway and adding another layer of heritage-driven storytelling to the event.

Eleva Jorden
Eleva Jorden will present a sustainable luxury collection that combines contemporary fashion with a conscious approach to design, reflecting the growing intersection between luxury, innovation and sustainability.

Himani Bhardwaj
Himani Bhardwaj will showcase a collection inspired by Indian heritage, bringing traditional cultural references into a contemporary fashion presentation.

The New Delhi edition of Loop Fashion Week is centred around the idea that fashion can function as more than clothing—it can become a medium for heritage, storytelling, craftsmanship, sustainability and cultural dialogue.
