With 11 nominations for the 2025 Grammy Awards, the superstar now boasts a total of 99 Grammy nominations and holds 32 Grammy wins, making her the most celebrated artist ever at the prestigious North American music awards. This year marks the first time Beyoncé, who launched her career with Destiny’s Child before embarking on a successful solo path, has been recognized in the Country and Americana categories.
The 2025 Grammy lineup features Beyoncé competing in several major categories. For Record of the Year, her competition includes legendary acts such as The Beatles with “Now and Then,” alongside Sabrina Carpenter (“Espresso”), Charli XCX (“360”), Billie Eilish (“Birds of a Feather”), Kendrick Lamar (“Not Like Us”), Chappell Roan (“Good Luck, Babe!”), and Taylor Swift featuring Post Malone (“Fortnight”).
In the Album of the Year category, Beyoncé’s album Cowboy Carter will contend with releases from other top artists: New Blue Sun by André 3000, Short n’ Sweet by Sabrina Carpenter, Brat by Charli XCX, Djesse Vol. 4 by Jacob Collier, Hit Me Hard and Soft by Billie Eilish, The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess by Chappell Roan, and The Tortured Poet Department by Taylor Swift.
This year’s Grammy nominations span over 90 categories, covering diverse genres from jazz and classical music to rap, rock, metal, gospel, and even audiobooks. Joining Beyoncé as top nominees are Charli XCX, Billie Eilish, and Post Malone with seven nominations each, followed by Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan, and Taylor Swift with six nominations apiece.
Among Beyoncé’s nominations are major categories like Album of the Year and Best Country Album for Cowboy Carter, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Country Song for “Texas Hold ‘Em.” She’s also nominated for Best Pop Solo Performance, Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Post Malone, Best Melodic Rap Performance with Linda Martell and Shaboozey, Best Country Solo Performance, Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group with Miley Cyrus, and Best Americana Performance.
