The inaugural third daily service arrived in Delhi at 6:00am on 20 September, increasing British Airways’ Delhi operation to three flights a day. The expansion takes the airline’s winter schedule to up to 70 weekly flights between India and London Heathrow, a 25% increase year-on-year. The additional service also provides passengers with greater flexibility and convenient onward connections through Heathrow to destinations across the United States and beyond. To mark the launch, British Airways is offering special fares from Delhi to London. Club World (business class) fares start from INR 230,000, with savings of up to INR 30,000, while World Traveller (economy) fares start from INR 67,000. According to British Airways, London-Delhi was among the most searched destinations on ba.com earlier this month, highlighting continued demand for travel between the UK and India. Lisa Tremble, British Airways’ Chief Customer and People Officer, said: “India is one of British Airways’ most important markets, and the arrival of our third daily Delhi service reflects our continued confidence in the region. “This additional flight gives our customers greater choice and flexibility while strengthening the connections that support trade, tourism, education and cultural ties between India and the UK. We are proud to be expanding our presence in India and investing in the routes, people and services that matter most to our customers.” Harjinder Kang, His Majesty’s Trade Commissioner for South Asia and British Deputy High Commissioner for Western India, said: “The launch of British Airways’ third daily flight between London and Delhi is a strong vote of confidence in the future of the UK-India relationship. “With the UK-India Free Trade Agreement now entered into force, stronger air links will help drive the next chapter of our partnership by supporting increased trade, investment, tourism and innovation.” British Airways marks 20 years of CallBA in India The expansion of the Delhi service comes as British Airways celebrates 20 years of CallBA, its wholly owned customer contact centre in India. Established in 2006, CallBA has grown into one of the airline’s largest customer service operations worldwide. More than 2,000 colleagues now work across its two Delhi sites, providing customer support globally around the clock. “The success of CallBA is thanks to the incredible talent, expertise and dedication of our colleagues in India,” Tremble said. “For 20 years, they have been at the heart of supporting customers around the world, and we are incredibly proud of everything they have achieved.” Growing India network British Airways’ presence in India extends beyond its flight network. The airline offers products and services tailored to Indian travellers, including curated meal options, Indian cabin crew operating from all its Indian destinations, and a complimentary Meet and Assist service. More than 17,000 customers have used the service to date. The airline currently serves five Indian cities—Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Chennai-with connections through London Heathrow to destinations across North America, Europe and beyond. British Airways operates up to three daily flights to Delhi and Mumbai, up to two daily services to Bengaluru, and daily flights to Hyderabad and Chennai. Fare offer: Special fares are available for bookings made from 21 to 25 September 2026, for travel between 10 January and 31 March 2027. Savings apply to return fares from Delhi to London.
