Miscreants Open Fire on Delhi Showroom: Possible Extortion Link

Delhi car street showroom firing

Delhi, Sept 28, 2024 – In a shocking incident late Friday evening, miscreants opened fire on a car showroom located on Narayana Road, sending shockwaves through the area. Over 20 bullets were reportedly fired at the Fusion car showroom, sparking panic among locals. Despite the close proximity of the Narayana Police Station, the assailants carried out the attack fearlessly.

Authorities suspect that the motive behind the shooting may be linked to an extortion demand. While the exact amount has yet to be confirmed, some sources indicate that the showroom owner had been targeted for a hefty sum, allegedly around Rs 5 crore.

The police, along with teams from the Operation Cell and Crime Branch, immediately reached the scene and have begun an in-depth investigation. Early reports suggest a potential connection to notorious gangster Himanshu Bhau, who is rumored to have threatened the showroom owner recently. This has led authorities to believe that Bhau may be involved in the extortion demand behind the attack.

The incident has left local residents shaken, with fears of insecurity spreading through the neighborhood. Many are calling for swift action from the police to bring the perpetrators to justice. The police have urged citizens to stay vigilant and report any suspicious activity to ensure timely intervention.

Further updates are expected as the investigation progresses.
