India Becomes World’s 4th Largest Economy, Amitabh Bachchan Expresses Pride

Mumbai Desk, Delhi Magazine: India has officially emerged as the world’s fourth-largest economy, surpassing Japan in terms of Gross Domestic Product (GDP). This milestone marks a historic achievement for the nation and has ignited a wave of pride across the country.

Joining in the celebration, Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan expressed his joy on social media. Beginning his post with “Jai Hind 🇮🇳”, the legendary actor highlighted India’s rising global economic stature. He wrote,

“India has become the fourth largest economy in the world. United States, China, Germany, and now India. In the next 2.5 to 3 years, India will become the third largest economy.”

Bachchan also shared a breakdown of the GDPs of the top global economies:

  • United States – $30.51 trillion

  • China – $19.23 trillion

  • Germany – $4.74 trillion

  • India – approximately $4 trillion

India’s steady economic rise is attributed to structural reforms, growing digital infrastructure, rising domestic consumption, and a strong services and manufacturing sector. Economists suggest that with continued growth, India is well on its way to surpass Germany and become the third-largest economy globally within the next few years.
