Arunachal Pradesh had the honor of leading the state tableaux at the parade. Its vibrant tableau, themed “Tourism and Spiritual Bliss of Arunachal Pradesh,” mesmerized spectators with its depiction of the state’s unparalleled natural beauty and spiritual significance. The highlight was the Golden Pagoda of Namsai, a prominent spiritual landmark, symbolizing the state’s harmonious blend of culture and tradition.

The tableau also showcased Arunachal Pradesh as a haven for eco-tourism and spiritual retreats, emphasizing its unique position in India’s tourism map. The depiction of serene landscapes, Buddhist monasteries, and traditional festivals brought the essence of Arunachal Pradesh to life on Kartavya Path.

Cultural Performance – The Peacock Dance
Adding to its impactful participation, performers from Arunachal Pradesh enthralled the audience with the Peacock Dance of the Tai-Khamti community. This traditional dance, characterized by its elegant and rhythmic movements, symbolizes grace and beauty, resonating with the cultural vibrancy of the region.

Republic Day Highlights
The 76th Republic Day celebrations featured several key events, including the display of indigenous weapon systems, a tri-services tableau showcasing joint military strength, and a breathtaking fly-past by the Indian Air Force.
