New Delhi, [August 2, 2025] –  Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) has launched an exciting new cultural program, “DEL Vibes,” at Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport. Starting July 21, 2025, this daily initiative aims to immerse passengers in India’s vibrant art and heritage, transforming the airport into a dynamic cultural stage.

Operating daily from 10 am to 6 pm across major terminals, particularly Terminal 1 and Terminal 3, DEL Vibes offers a unique pre-flight experience for both domestic and international travelers. The program features a captivating array of live performances and interactive sessions designed to showcase India’s diverse traditions.

Passengers can enjoy 10 to 15-minute classical dance performances, including Kathak and Bharatanatyam, and be mesmerized by 20 to 25-minute instrumental recitals featuring traditional Indian instruments like the sitar, sarangi, santoor, tar shehnai, and tabla. For a more hands-on experience, 15-minute craft workshops allow travelers to participate in creating traditional art and interact directly with skilled artisans.

Between performances, an emcee keeps the audience engaged with interactive segments and light conversations, ensuring a continuous flow of cultural enrichment. DIAL states that DEL Vibes seeks not only to entertain but also to foster a deeper connection to India’s rich cultural heritage.

Videh Kumar Jaipuriar, CEO of DIAL, emphasized that the program is designed to give passengers a taste of India’s cultural diversity before they even board their flights. He also noted that the initiative aims to reduce travel-related stress and create a more positive and enriching pre-flight environment.

IGI Airport is already renowned for its artistic displays, such as the iconic Surya Namaskar sculpture and the Mudra series of hand gesture statues. With the introduction of DEL Vibes, the airport further solidifies its reputation as more than just a transit hub, evolving into a true cultural gateway to India.
