The Moscow International Film Festival Has Opened

Entertainment Desk, Delhi Magazine: On Thursday evening, the traditional opening ceremony began on the red carpet, MIR 24 correspondent Dmitry Karataev reports.

The first guests and participants of the festival have already taken to the red carpet. The dress code of the festival is dark colors. The men come in black formal suits, while the ladies chose outfits in all shades of pink and lilac, fur, floor-length dresses, bare backs and slits from the waist to the hem. Guests from India attended the solemn ceremony in gold-colored saris.

This year, 202 films from 64 countries are participating in the festival: China, Mongolia, the USA, India, Iran, Europe, Africa and Latin America. For seven days, MIFF films can be viewed in Moscow cinemas. A competition program and documentaries were presented. Particular attention is paid to the out-of-competition program. At the 45th MIFF, special attention will be paid to the problems of the young, and even for the first time, student accreditation was made, which makes it possible to watch two films a day and listen to open lectures for applicants and graduates of creative universities.
