Let’s get to know something about her.

Q. Tell us something about you?

A. I’m a person who’s shy, conservative, more of an ambivert. I’m someone who believes in hard work and determination, and I also believe that nothing in this world is impossible with passion. And for me fashion is my passion. I had a dream to be Miss India, to be a model and now I’ve somewhat achieved my goal. Being a Delhite I’m more like other girls, I like to dress up, I like to be all dolled up, but there are some days too where I just wanna be a person in cozy pants and loose T-shirt.

Q. Tell us about your Family?

A. I come from a typical Indian family. I’ve a small family which comprises of my mother, father, my younger sibling and me. Unlike other parents, my parents are really supportive they always supported me with my dreams, with one Condition that it doesn’t effects my studies. They got me photo shoots since I was a childhood. My parents always knew I wanted to be a model, so they stood always with me, supported me, searched for opportunities for the same. In other words, my family is my backbone.

Q. How did you get the chance to participate in this Beauty Pageant?

A. One fine day, I was casually scrolling the Instagram where I found the template of Beauty and the Best Magazine organising Ms/Mr/Mrs India, I read their guidelines and applied for the same. Honestly, I forgot after applying and one day I received the call from a representative, she explained me everything and asked me to attend the grooming session the next day. I actually loved the session and that made me attracted towards the pageant. Sometimes I had this feeling that is it safe but later on it turned out to a safer platform.

Q. Tell us about your preparations and planning for the contest?

A. Honestly, I didn’t prepare myself much. It was the grooming sessions which made me become a better version of me and made me being capable of appearing for the pageant. I never owned a pair of heels because I never found myself made for them, but because of this pageant I bought my very first pair of heels, which turned out to be my award winning pair. I watched various pageants so that I could be like other title holders who won the title and became Miss India. I started keeping me in the shoes of other winners which really gave me strength and helped me with a better version of me. I even had to lose some weight so for that I stopped eating after 6pm in the evening, which really helped me to get a slimmer shape.

Q. Any new project ?

A. Currently, I’m not into any project as my main aim is to receive my degree and become a computer scientist, but side by side I’m also looking for something which suits me and doesn’t effects my studies.

Q. Your Future Plans?

A. I do not wish to stop myself after wining just one pageant rather I want to keep on flying and to
get various titles on my name. I want to be the next Harnaaz Sandhu. Even I want to balance my career as a model and as a computer scientist side by side without effecting any of them from each other.

Q. Your Favourite food, place, actor, actresses, singer, colour, etc?

A. I’m a proper punjabi person, who clearly has a hidden foodie in herself. I love to try and explore
variety of foods, but my favourite dish is clearly Kadhi-Chawal, I can have it at any time of the day.
Talking about my favourite place to visit, it’s not fixed, I’m an explorer so new places works the best
for me. Coming to favourite actor and actress, this is a tricky part as there no one because every
actor/actress is unique with their skills and talent.

My favourite movie is Yeh Jawaani hai Deewani, I’m like the Kabir in the movie, who wants to “Main udna chahta hoon, daudna chahta hoon, girna bhi chahta hoon … bus rukna nahi chahta” this is clearly me. My favourite singer is B praak, and Arijit Singh like any other youth would love to listen, by talking about the music I really enjoy is the old bollywood Songs which were song my Lata Mangeshkar, RD Burman, Kishore Kumar… they were the real gems.

My favourite colour is black maybe, actually I enjoy every shade of the colours. Lastly, I enjoy most
of the time staying up at home and binge watching some shows with my mom because it’s the quality time I enjoy the most..
