Entertainment Desk, Delhi Magazine: Filmmaker Sajid Khan, previously accused in the 2018 #MeToo movement, is once again in the spotlight after fresh and serious allegations were made by television actress Navina Bole. Known for her roles in shows like Ishqbaaz, CID, and Miley Jab Hum Tum, Navina has come forward with a disturbing account of her experience with the director.
In a recent interview with journalist Subhojit Ghosh on his YouTube channel, Navina Bole alleged that Sajid Khan called her to his house under the pretext of a film audition and then made inappropriate and obscene demands.
“He literally said, ‘Why don’t you take off your clothes and sit in your lingerie? I want to see how comfortable you are,’” Navina recalled, referring to a meeting during the casting for the film Heyy Babyy. She stated this incident occurred between 2004 and 2006, around the time she was part of the Gladrags modelling event.
Bole added that Sajid tried to justify his behavior by referencing her previous bikini appearance on stage, saying, “You have worn a bikini on stage, so what’s the problem with that?”
She further mentioned that she had visited his house accompanied by an acquaintance, who waited for her downstairs—something she now feels was a relief considering the uncomfortable situation she faced.
Navina also revealed that Sajid contacted her again a year later, seemingly forgetting their earlier interaction. “This man has misbehaved with so many women that he didn’t even remember what he had done with me,” she said.
Sajid Khan has previously faced multiple allegations from women during the #MeToo movement, with claims ranging from sexual harassment to exploitation. These latest revelations by Navina Bole add to the growing list of voices accusing the director of misconduct within the film industry.
As of now, there has been no official response from Sajid Khan regarding Navina Bole’s allegations.
