NCR Desk, Delhi Magazine: In a late-night raid at a flat in the Supernova Society, Sector 94, Noida, police detained 39 university students involved in a rave party, including some minors. The ages of the detained students range between 16 and 20 years, according to a statement from the police to PTI.
The rave party, organized by college students, was reported by concerned residents after they witnessed students throwing empty liquor bottles from the balcony, shattering them on the ground floor. The police quickly responded, detaining 39 individuals, including the main organizers of the event.
During the raid, a significant number of Haryana-labelled alcohol bottles, hookahs, and other items were recovered from the flat. The incident has raised concerns about the involvement of underage individuals in such gatherings, as well as the consumption of prohibited substances. Authorities are continuing their investigation to determine the source of the alcohol and the full scope of the event.
