Sports Desk, Delhi Magazine: Hardik, a talented student from Bal Vikas Senior Secondary School in Sarai Aurangabad and son of Wazir Singh, has secured a gold medal at the Champions of Champions Taekwondo tournament held in Pune from July 13 to 15, 2024. This impressive victory has qualified him for the World Taekwondo Junior Championship, which will be held in Chuncheon, Korea, from October 1 to 6, 2024.
Upon his triumphant return to school, Hardik received a warm welcome from Principal Dr. Poonam Chaudhary and Coach Suren Kumar. Both extended their congratulations on his remarkable achievement and expressed their pride in his qualification for the prestigious international event. Dr. Chaudhary voiced her confidence in Hardik’s abilities, anticipating that he will continue to bring honor to the school, Haryana, and India.
In addition to his recent success, Hardik, a Class 11 Arts student, has an impressive track record in Taekwondo. He previously won a bronze medal at the Sarajevo 2023 World Taekwondo Cadet Championship in Bosnia and competed in the fifth Asian Cadet Taekwondo Championship in Beirut, Lebanon.
