World News, Delhi Magazine: On Wednesday, Khalistan supporters forcibly blocked the main gate of the Indian Consulate in Brisbane city of Australia. This consulate is in Brisbane’s suburban area of Taringa.

Last week, Prime Minister of Australia Anthony Albanese had come on a tour of India. During the media briefing, he had assured Prime Minister Narendra Modi that action would be taken against Khalistan supporters in cases of attacks on temples and Indians.

 

According to the report of ‘The Australia Today’, Khalistan supporters reached here with flags, posters and banners. They did not allow people entering the consulate. Because of this, work could not be done in the consulate.

Khalistani supporters are losing their sleep due to the increasing friendship between India and Australia, and they are adopting new tactics to harass people. Earlier, They have attacked the Murugan temple in the suburbs of Melbourne during the Thai Pongal festival. After this they targeted two other temples on Mahashivaratri. On February 18, the Khalistanis had threatened the people living here.
