Big Accident in Maharashtra – 11 Burnt Alive, 38 Injured in Bus Truck Collision Fire the Way to Mumbai from Yavatmal

Maharashtra News, Delhi Magazine: A bus caught fire after a horrific collision with a truck in Maharashtra’s Nashik city in the early hours of Saturday. It is reported that 11 people died and 24 others were injured in this accident. The accident took place on Aurangabad road at around 5 am when the bus rammed the truck, a police official said.

There was a collision between the bus and the Eicher truck, due to which the diesel tank of the bus exploded and its front part caught fire. Seeing it, the bus burnt down in 20 minutes.

11 people in the bus were burnt alive in the accident. Apart from these, 38 passengers have been injured. The bus was going from Yavatmal to Mumbai. The accident happened at 4:30 am. Most of the passengers saved their lives by jumping off the bus.

According to the official, there were about 30 passengers in this private bus with ‘sleeper’ coach. He said the bus rammed a truck at Nandur Naka and caught fire within minutes. According to the official, the injured have been admitted to a nearby hospital. He said that most of the bus passengers were among the dead and injured. The truck was going from Dhule to Mumbai.

At the same time, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde announced financial assistance and promised Rs 5 lakh each to the next of kin of the deceased.
