Sofia Ribeiro Spends Quality Time in Paris with Her New Partner

In the stories, there were already several images that the actress shared these days in the French capital, including some affectionate videos in which she appears with her partner.

Who is Sofia Ribeiro ?

Sofia Ribeiro is one of the renowned actresses in Portugal. Her full name is Cátia Sofia Ribeiro, was born on October 2, 1984.

Born and raised in Lisbon, in Bairro Alto, one of the most emblematic places in the country, she was soon encouraged by her friends to work as a model.

At the age of 21, she was chosen to be part of the cast of the series Morangos com Açúcar and, from that moment on, she discovered an unparalleled love for the world of acting.

With 11 years of professional career as a successful actress, Sofia Ribeiro has worked in cinema, theater and various entertainment programs. She was also the face of several advertising campaigns.

Considered one of the sexiest women in the country, she made the first 3D photo shoot published in Portugal for the men’s magazine GQ, which featured Sofia on the cover.

In 2012, she made her film debut in the film “O Que as Mulheres Querem”, with the character Sofia and, in the same year, “O Par Ideal”, a production by Gonçalo Mourão. Two years later, she played Anita in the film “Eclipse in Portugal”.

In 2016 and 2017, she started a new stage in her life and returned to television with the character Soraia, in A Herdeira .

In mid-2018 she released her first book, “Confia”. It is a testimony of life, of overcoming and of love, where the actress addresses, head-on and for the first time, her childhood, the cancer she fought and the love she received during the worst moment of her life, in an inspiring  and intimate story. Confia is her book, in which she recounts important moments in her personal journey, from childhood to the determined and courageous way she fought breast cancer, diagnosed in 2016.

In the same year, Sofia launched herself in the business world and, now, it is possible to visit her first space, the Café “Filosofia”, located in Saldanha, in Lisbon: “Philosophy is born from my passion for cooking and the happiness that allows me to receive and welcome. It was born from my search for a healthier life, without extremism or fundamentalism”.

In 2021, she had her first experience as a presenter, in the third season of “Cabelo Pantene – O Sonho”.

At the Theater, she had the opportunity to participate in two plays: “Boieng, Boeing”, a comedy of mistakes about the trajectory of a Casanova from the Jet Age; and “Pocahontas”, a musical that toured theaters in several cities.

Currently, she is part of the cast of the new TVI soap opera, “Amar Demais”.
