NCR Desk, Delhi Magazine: India’s fastest-growing sport, pickleball, is set to make its presence felt in the national capital as the Indian Pickleball League (IPBL) 2025 begins on 1 December at the KD Jadhav Wrestling Stadium, Delhi. The league is recognised by the Indian Pickleball Association and the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports.
The event will run till 7 December, with multiple sessions scheduled throughout the week. Organisers have announced that entry will be free, but spectators are required to book their tickets through the District App to gain access.
Pickleball, a sport known for its blend of agility, speed, and precision, has been gaining rapid popularity across India. The inaugural season of IPBL aims to introduce competitive pickleball on a national stage and highlight emerging talent in this growing sport.
The week-long event is expected to draw significant interest as India takes a formal step into the expanding global pickleball arena.
