Addressing the World Parliament of Religions on Monday, Lokesh Muni said that the world is currently facing many challenges, some of which pose a threat to the entire creation.
He said that global warming, climate change, terrorism and violence are issues that everyone is grappling with. He said that people of different religions, creeds, countries and ideologies can come together to find solutions to these problems. He said, “Sarva-religion harmony is necessary to solve global issues.
The World Parliament of Religions in 2023 will prove to be a milestone.” The inaugural session of the World Parliament of Religions was attended by hundreds of eminent personalities, including UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and veteran US leader Nancy Pelosi. Lokesh Muni is the founder of Ahimsa Vishwa Bharati which works for peace and emphasizes on non-violence.
