Sonipat, April 18, 2025 – Gateway Institute of Engineering & Technology, Sonipat, is all set to host “CodeXccelerate,” a 72-hour hackathon taking place from April 23 to April 25, 2025. The event aims to bring together creative minds and tech enthusiasts from various colleges, universities, and disciplines to develop innovative solutions for real-world problems.

Event Theme: Innovation for Tomorrow
Participants will focus on using technology to solve global challenges. From smart cities to healthcare to sustainability, the goal is to think ahead and create solutions that can make a difference.
Who Can Join?
Students from different fields and institutions can participate in teams of 3 to 5 members. Teams have already submitted their ideas in the preliminary abstract round, which closed on April 10. Shortlisted teams will now take part in the main 72-hour event.
What Happens During the Hackathon?
Over the course of three days, selected teams will:

Turn their ideas into working tech prototypes.

Collaborate, code, and innovate continuously.

Present their final solutions to a panel of judges.
Prizes and Recognition
Exciting prizes will be awarded to the best-performing teams. In addition, a special prize will be given to a female team that showcases outstanding work focused on women empowerment.
Facilities
The institute will provide Wi-Fi and power supply to all participants. Students must bring their own laptops and other necessary gadgets.
Objective of the Event
