Rohtak, 6 Dec, 2024 – A vibrant freshers’ party was organized at Shri Baba Mastnath Ayurvedic College, Asthal Bohar, Rohtak, to welcome the new batch of BAMS students. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from the students, who showcased their talent through various cultural performances.
The program was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Vice Chancellor of Baba Mastnath University, Prof. (Dr.) H.L. Verma, who congratulated the students on becoming part of the university family. In his address, he highlighted that “Ayurveda is not only India’s ancient medical system but also a means to promote a healthy and balanced lifestyle in modern times.” Dr. Verma emphasized the university’s commitment to delivering high-quality education and practical training, enabling students to contribute positively to society as skilled doctors.
He further shared a significant achievement, stating that Baba Mastnath Ayurvedic College has secured the 1st position in the state and 26th at the national level for its excellence. Motivating the students, Dr. Verma said, “If you study with full dedication during your five years of BAMS, you can ensure a stable and successful career.” He added that the purpose of the freshers’ party was to foster mutual interaction and cooperation among new and senior students, creating a homely atmosphere within the college.
The Dean of Shri Baba Mastnath Ayurvedic College, Dr. Neeraj Khare, also addressed the gathering, underlining Ayurveda’s role in maintaining harmony between body, mind, and soul for a healthier life.
The event was attended by Registrar Manoj Kumar Verma, Deputy Registrar M.L. Batra, DSW Dr. Sudhir Malik, Dean Dr. Neeraj Khare, Principal Dr. Ajay Dahiya, and other esteemed teaching staff members, who encouraged the students to excel in their academic and personal endeavors.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks and left the students energized for the journey ahead.
