India Desk, Delhi Magazine: Today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to grace Yavatmal in Maharashtra, where he will unveil a series of ambitious schemes worth crores of rupees. Among the highlights, he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for various projects, marking a significant stride in the region’s development. This announcement came via a statement from the Press Information Bureau (PIB) on Tuesday.

One of the pivotal moments of the visit will be the release of the 16th installment of the Kisan Samman Nidhi, with over Rs 21,000 crore to be transferred directly to the accounts of deserving farmers. Additionally, Prime Minister Modi will proudly unveil the statue of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay in Yavatmal city, honoring the legacy of the revered leader.

Furthermore, Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to kick-start numerous development ventures totaling over Rs 4,900 crore in Yavatmal, Maharashtra. This includes the inauguration of the 16th installment of the ‘PM Kisan Samman Nidhi’ and the distribution of the second and third installments of the ‘Namo Shetkari Mahasamman Nidhi,’ amounting to about Rs 3,800 crore, benefiting a vast number of farmers across the state.

In a bid to empower women, the Prime Minister will distribute a ‘revolving fund’ of Rs 825 crore to 5.5 lakh women self-help groups (SHGs) across Maharashtra, complementing the existing support provided by the Government of India under the National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM). Additionally, one crore Ayushman cards will be distributed across Maharashtra, alongside the launch of the ‘Modi Awas Gharkul Yojana,’ aimed at providing housing to OBC category beneficiaries.

Moreover, Prime Minister Modi will oversee the commencement of several irrigation projects designed to benefit the Marathwada and Vidarbha regions, with a cumulative cost exceeding Rs 2750 crore, under the Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana (PMKSY) and Baliraja Jal Sanjeevani Yojana (BJSY).

Yesterday, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi took part in the program ‘Creating the Future – Digital Mobility for Automotive MSME Entrepreneurs’ in Madurai, Tamil Nadu. During the event, he addressed thousands of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) entrepreneurs operating in the automotive sector. Additionally, the Prime Minister engaged in discussions with Gandhigram-trained women entrepreneurs and schoolchildren.

On the transportation front, the Prime Minister will inaugurate rail projects exceeding Rs 1300 crore in Maharashtra, along with initiatives to bolster the road sector. Notably, the Wardha–Kalamb broad gauge line and the New Ashti–Amalner broad gauge line will significantly enhance connectivity, particularly benefiting the Vidarbha and Marathwada regions.

Furthermore, the unveiling of road infrastructure projects, including the four-laning of Warora-Wani section of NH-930 and road upgradation projects for key routes like Sakoli-Bhandara and Salaikhurd-Tirora, underscores the government’s commitment to improving connectivity and fostering socio-economic development in the region.
