Political Desk, Delhi Magazine: People of Moodal village under Amritsar East assembly constituency on Monday showed black flags to the wife of Punjab Congress chief Navjot Sidhu in the Punjab Assembly elections. The villagers raised slogans of ‘Sidhu Murdabad’ in front of Navjot Kaur Sidhu, who came to the village to campaign for her husband. Its video has surfaced.
Navjot Singh Sidhu had taken a dig at the village sarpanch during a public rally in Moodal village two days ago. Sidhu had said that he would straighten this sarpanch like a jalebi. After this remark of Sidhu, the people of Moodal village are fiercely opposing Navjot Sidhu.
Navjot Kaur Sidhu, wife of PPCC President Navjot Sidhu, had reached Moodal village on Monday to campaign for her husband. As soon as Navjot Kaur’s car reached the village, the people already present there started shouting slogans of Sidhu Murdabad. People also showed black flags to Navjot Kaur. Children, elders and women present on the spot asked Navjot Kaur to go back. Seeing the protest of the people, Navjot Kaur Sidhu returned after sitting in the car.

Navjot Sidhu calls Akali Dal candidate from Amritsar North assembly seat, Anil Joshi a black Brahmin And opposing the remarks on the sarpanch of Moodal village, has announced to boycott him in the Brahmin society. While Akali leader Bikram Majithia also demanded the Election Commission to take action against him.
