Delhi won 1st Spot in Terms of Economic Opportunites
Delhi is on the top posisiton in the list in terms of economic opportunity. It is followed by Bangalore, Hyderabad and Chennai. Pune, Visakhapatnam, Pimpri Chinchwad, Ahmedabad and Gwalior are among the top cities in sustainability. In terms of environment, the top 10 cities include 6 cities in Tamil Nadu alone.
In the Ease of Living Index 2020, cities across the country were divided into two parts with a population of more than 1 million and less than 1 million. 111 cities participated in this entire competition. Among the cities with more than 1 million population, the Ease of Life Index in 2020 ranked first in Bengaluru in Karnataka, Pune in Maharashtra in second place and Ahmedabad in Gujarat in third place.
However, Delhi and Kolkata could not make it to the list of the first ten cities. Thiruvananthapuram at 1st Position in Education
Thiruvananthapuram is the best city in the country in terms of education. Belagavi comes at number two and Chandigarh at third. It is followed by Kakinada, Indore, Imphal, Bengaluru, Ajmer and Amritsar. Imphal is the best city in terms of health services. Top-5 includes Vellore, Port Blair, Shillong and Mangalore.
Bhopal at Number Four in residential status
Thiruvananthapuram also tops in residential status. This is followed by Delhi, Puducherry and Bhopal. Vellore ranks first in terms of drinking water, sanitation and solid waste management. This is followed by cities like Tirupati, Ahmedabad, Indore and Rajkot.
Chennai is the best city in terms of transportation. This is followed by Thane, Bengaluru, Bhopal and Guwahati. In terms of recreation, Coimbatore has been found to be the best city in the country. Navi Mumbai is second and Gandhi Nagar third in this list.
