Greece Hit by 4.5 Magnitude Earthquake

Greece Desk, Delhi Magazine: An earthquake of magnitude 4.5 occurred in Greece, the epicenter was on the island of Euboea, 52 kilometers from Athens, the Seismological Laboratory of the University of Athens said. The hearth lay at a depth of 10 kilometers.

Last week also an earthquake of magnitude 3.9 hit Greece. The source lay at a depth of 18 kilometers, according to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center.

The epicenter of the disaster was located two kilometers southwest of Larisa. About 144 thousand people live there. There were no reports of casualties or damage.

Earlier, an earthquake of magnitude 6.0 was recorded off the coast of Indonesia . The source of tremors lay at a depth of 66 kilometers. The epicenter was located 132 kilometers southeast of the city of Bengkulu with a population of about 309 thousand people.
