The delivery of Bharat Biotech’s Kovaxin has also started a day after KoviShield of Serum Institute. The first consignment of Kovacsin was flown by Air India flight from Hyderabad to Delhi at 6.40 am on Wednesday.
Apart from Delhi, its first shipment has reached 11 cities including Bengaluru, Chennai, Patna, Jaipur, Lucknow, Ranchi, Kurukshetra, Kochi. The country’s largest vaccination program will start in the country from January 16. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will start it virtually. On this occasion, the Prime Minister will also launch Co-Win app related to vaccination.

Surat: Kovishield’s second shipment reached The second consignment of KoviShield reached Surat from Bye Road Pune on Wednesday morning. It has 93 thousand 500 doses. They are stored in the Civil Hospital of Surat.
Ministers and officials welcomed it as soon as the truck filled with the vaccine arrived in the city. Earlier, the first consignment of Coveshield reached Ahmedabad on Tuesday morning.
