Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov responded to the statement of the Turkish Ministry of Health about the refusal to purchase the Russian vaccine against coronavirus.
“The Russian vaccine is very effective and reliable,” said Peskov, adding that this is shown by the results of testing and trials.
According to the head of the presidential press service, the Russian coronavirus vaccine can and will certainly play a very important role in the fight against the pandemic.
Earlier, Turkish Health Minister Fahrettin Koca said that Turkey would not purchase Russian vaccine against coronavirus. According to the minister, the vaccine allegedly does not comply with GLP, the system of norms adopted in Russia aimed at ensuring the consistency and reliability of laboratory test results.
