In Russia, new rules for issuing sick leave came into force on December 14. Sick leave can be issued and received remotely, and sick leave for childcare is not limited in time.
In the sick leave for child care, a limiting period has been introduced when this sick leave is paid: 15 days. Also, according to the new rules, if one parent is on parental leave for a child up to 3 years old, then the other can use the right to take sick leave in case of illness of the second child.
It is possible to issue a certificate of incapacity for work through telemedicine services in case of a threat of the spread of infectious diseases.
