GIET’s Annual Fest Yugaantar 2.0 Kicks Off with Spectacular Energy and Esteemed Guests

NCR Desk, Delhi- Magazine: The annual fest of Gateway Institute of Engineering and Technology (GIET), Sonipat, commenced on April 17, 2024, with great enthusiasm and fervor. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of distinguished personalities from Gateway Education, marking the beginning of a vibrant celebration of talent, creativity, and innovation.

Mr. Rakesh Aggarwal, Associate Director of Gateway Education, inaugurated the event, symbolizing the commencement of an enriching experience for the students and faculty alike. His address emphasized the importance of such gatherings in fostering holistic development and nurturing the budding talents within the institute.

Dr. Col Amik Garg, Director General of Gateway Education, shared his insights on the significance of co-curricular activities in shaping well-rounded individuals. His motivational words encouraged the participants to actively engage in the various events lined up for the fest.

Dr. Vinay Kumar Singhal, Principal of GIET, reiterated the institute’s commitment to providing a conducive environment for the overall growth of the students. Radhika Nagpal, Principal of Gateway College of Architecture and Design (GCAD), brought forth the importance of creativity and innovation in the field of architecture and design. Her address inspired the budding architects and designers to explore new horizons and push the boundaries of conventional thinking.

Mr. Prem Kumar Ojha, Principal of Gateway International School (GIS), emphasized the need for holistic education encompassing both academic and extracurricular pursuits. His words resonated with the audience, emphasizing the holistic approach adopted by Gateway Education in nurturing talent across diverse domains.

The ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries symbolized the dispelling of darkness and the advent of knowledge and enlightenment. It marked the beginning of a journey filled with learning, collaboration, and camaraderie.

The inaugural ceremony also featured captivating dance performances presented by students, showcasing their talents and artistic expressions. The vibrant performances enthralled the audience and set the stage for an evening filled with cultural vibrancy.

Adding to the cultural extravaganza was the play ‘Gagan Damdma Bajyo’, presented by Sukhmanch Theater which mesmerized the audience with its powerful performances and thought-provoking storyline. The play served as a testament to the creative prowess of the students and the institute’s commitment to promoting cultural enrichment.

As the fest unfolds over the coming days, it is expected to serve as a platform for students to showcase their talents, exchange ideas, and forge lasting bonds, thereby contributing to the holistic development of the Gateway Institute of Engineering and Technology community.

• Slide Sizzle : Yuvika Bharti from Holy Child Sr. Sec. School 1st, Pratham Deswal from GIET 2nd.
• Elite Showdown Solo: Vidhan from SRM University 1st, Rajan Sharma from GIET 2nd.
• Tech Trivia : Akshat Khatri, Ishita Khatri from PIRT 1st, Akash Gaur, Tannu from GIET 2nd.
