US Desk, Delhi Magazine: Adult film star Stormy Daniels appeared in court on Tuesday as part of the legal proceedings involving former US President Donald Trump and a secret payment lawsuit. Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, arrived at court dressed in black.
The lawsuit alleges that Trump paid Daniels $130,000 to keep quiet about their alleged sexual relationship. Trump denies any such relationship and maintains his innocence. He has already faced a $10,000 fine for violating court orders related to this case. Daniels recounted her first encounter with Trump, which occurred at a golf tournament in 2006.
During her testimony, Daniels described her initial meeting with Trump, recalling that he was wearing silk pajamas when she entered his penthouse suite. She jokingly remarked about his attire, asking, “Does Mr. Hefner know that you stole his pajamas?” Trump then changed his clothes upon her request. Daniels also mentioned that Trump inquired about her adult films during their meeting.
Daniels disclosed that Trump ridiculed her clothing choices and revealed that they had an intimate relationship while he was married to his current wife, Melania. Trump appeared visibly concerned during Daniels’ testimony.
The court proceedings continue as both sides present their arguments in this ongoing legal battle.
