Jain Acharya Dr. Lokesh Muni, founder of Ahimsa Vishwa Bharati is an Indian religious leader of international repute. His fans also include the current US President Joe Biden. Jain Acharya Dr. Lokesh Muni is known for his efforts to reduce the social evils and tension. Not only the Government of India, but also International Organizations around the world have praised his work done for the promotion of peace around the world.
Acharya Dr. Lokesh Muni was born on 17 April 1961 in Pachpadra city of Rajasthan. After completing his early education, he studied Jain, Buddhist, Vedic philosophy along with many Indian and foreign philosophies. He left home at the age of 22 after taking initiation into Jainism. Jain Muni has knowledge of many languages like Prakrit, Hindi, English, Gujarati etc. He has written more than a dozen books in both prose and poetry. Unity in diversity is the fundamental feature of Indian culture, harmony of all religions is its main mantra.
He has played an important role in establishing peace in the society and the country on various occasions of communal violence and tension, such as in Muzaffarnagar and Kairana (Uttar Pradesh), Bardoli (Gujarat), Sikh community and Dera Sacha Sauda (Punjab).

Jain Acharya Dr. Lokesh Muni was honored by Union Tourism Minister K.J. Alphons has been honored with ‘Swarna Kamal National Award’. The whole life of Acharya Lokesh Muni is devoted to human values and the interest of the country. In his life till now, he has worked continuously for the upliftment of humanity, welfare of the people, mutual love and maintaining peace system. He keeps on starting different efforts and campaigns to maintain unity in the country. The whole society continues to benefit from his innovative efforts and researches. He has also been honored with an honorary degree from the Indian Board of Alternative Medicine.
Social Reformer
Acharya Lokesh is also considered a thinker and social reformer. This is clearly visible from the books written by him. He runs Ahimsa Vishwabharti Sanstha to make the society aware and maintain peace in the country. His works have been praised not only by the Government of India but also by organizations around the world. Acharya Lokesh comes from Barmer district of Rajasthan, which is situated on the border of Pakistan.
20 thousand kilometer walk
Jain monk Acharya Lokesh has traveled 20 kilometers on foot in India for social reform. He made people aware about cleanliness, environmental pollution, drug addiction and female feticide. Acharya Lokesh was on a tour of London in 2013 when he came to know about the Muzaffarnagar riots. He immediately came back to India leaving his journey midway and reached Muzaffarnagar to help the victims. Here he met both the sides and appealed for peace. Similarly, in the year 2007, he resolved the dispute between Akal Takht and Dera Sacha Sauda in Punjab.
Jain Acharya Lokesh Muni has Fans all Over the World
This is the reason why Acharya Lokesh has fans all over the world. Apart from US President Joe Biden, former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is also very impressed with him. Acharya discussed nonviolence and peace education in the US Senate in 2007. He has knowledge of many languages including Sanskrit, Hindi, English, Gujarati.
Biden met him in Los Angeles in 2022 to discuss the solution to the violence happening around the world. Acharya Lokesh Muni told him that the problem is not only with guns, but with the mindset. If we have to get rid of this problem, then the mindset has to be changed. Today good doctors, lawyers, engineers are being made, but ‘peace education’ is needed to make value-based education and good human beings. It has to be implemented from primary education. He said that a person changes not only by reading, but by principles.
Former US President Bill Clinton was also greatly influenced by the thoughts of Acharya Lokesh Muni. In 2011, he had sent an invitation to Acharya Lokesh Muni to visit America. Acharya Lokesh Muni had discussed non-violence and peace education in the Senate during his visit to America in the year 2007. In the year 2008, he addressed the House of California.
He has held Muslims responsible for population explosion in India. Not only this, he has also raised questions on his claim of being a minority in gestures.

He said, “Lord Mahavira became the 24th Tirthankara of Jainism, before that the 23rd was Lord Parshvanath. Neminath Yogiraj was Krishna’s cousin, but remember before that Lord Rishabhdev was the first Tirthankara, after whose son Bharata the country of India is named.
Jain Acharya invited Madani for debate
Jain Muni told reporters while leaving the program, “Our parents have created us. Lord Mahavir or Allah has not created us. We consider them above them. We believe that good deeds create good fortune. Bad deeds create bad luck. We follow this philosophy.
He alleged that Maulana Arshad Madani created division by invoking Adam, Allah and Manu and “we the people of Indian All Religion Parliament unanimously oppose it.”
He said, “I can’t tolerate the insult of my religion, culture in front of my eyes, so I protested, challenged the debate.”
“I am proud to be a Hindu”
Acharya Lokesh Muni had said in a program of his organization that he is a Jain but a Hindu. They are Hindus from that point of view, which Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat talks about. He had said, “I come from Barmed, a border district of Rajasthan, where S is called H. Mother-in-law is called Hauji, brother-in-law is called Halle and that is why Sindhu is called Hindu. A corruption of S has been made. And all the people living in the Indus Valley Civilization are Hindus.
Appeal to ban the killing of animals on Maha Shivratri
He has appealed to ban the sale of meat and killing of animals on Maha Shivratri and said that
