How to Get Rid of Cellulite on The Thighs At Home

Female legs thighs with cellulite. Skin problem, body care

According to various sources, cellulite in one form or another is observed in more than 85 percent of women aged 21 and older. “Dimples” on the skin are formed when the adipose tissue collides with the connective tissue, so the thighs suffer more from this “ailment”, since the adipose tissue is thicker in this area. Despite the fact that cellulite is not a disease, but a normal phenomenon, the desire of many of the fair sex to get rid of it is understandable. We have mentioned below the  available methods that will help in this matter.

Massage

In the process of massage, skin tissues are stretched, dimples are smoothed, skin tone and elasticity is increased. A special massage cream can also help, but don’t expect the orange peel to disappear by itself if nothing is done after applying the cream. The very procedure of external influence on the body is important. In addition, one session will not be enough, you need to massage the problem area on an ongoing basis.

Sports and weight control

Cellulite also appears due to excess weight. Therefore, getting rid of extra pounds , most of the problem will disappear naturally. However, this does not mean that people who are not overweight or obese are protected from cellulite. Physical activity on the legs and buttocks does not directly affect cellulite, but it will tighten the muscles of the thighs, and the “dimples” on the skin will become less noticeable, and in the best case, they will disappear altogether. Here are 4 exercises you can do at home:

Squats

Stand up straight with your feet shoulder-width apart. Make sure your toes are straight. Lower yourself as if you were sitting in a chair, making sure that your knees do not go beyond the line of your feet. Squeeze your buttocks as you return to the starting position. Repeat 15-20 times.

Jumping squats

The same scheme as in regular squats, but when returning to the starting position, you need to jump as high as possible. Try to land on your feet as gently as possible to avoid damaging your feet. Repeat 10-15 times.

Step up

You can use a bench, a low stool, or a sturdy box. Slowly stand on this object with one leg, then pull up the other. Get down and repeat the exercise, changing the order of the legs. Do 2 passes, 10 times on each leg.

Side lunges

Stand up straight with your feet wider than your shoulders. Take the widest step to the right or left and bend the corresponding knee, pushing the hips back. Keep your heels on the floor throughout the lunge. Return to the starting position and do the same with the other leg. Repeat 20 times, 10 on each side.  how to remove cellulite on thighs at home

 Drink more water

One of the most economical aids in the fight against cellulite. Drinking water not only prevents dehydration, but also promotes the circulation of blood, tissue fluid and lymph. It is recommended to drink at least 2 litres of water daily. If this seems like an overwhelming task, you can experiment with detox water. However, remember that the kidneys cannot process more than 800-1000 ml of fluid per hour, otherwise the cells swell and this threatens the body leading to  over-hydration.
