The importance of books in our life cant be undrmined for they not only help in broadening our horizons but also act as doorways of connecting us with the world around us. Books provide knowledge of the outside world to the student in their school and college life and improve their reading, writing and speaking skills and also boost their memory and intelligency. Books took the students and introduce them to a world of imagination and thus play a very important and quintessential role in their life.
Books are the best companions of students and are considered as their best friends in real sense. Books take the students into a unique world of imagination and improve their standard of living and thus help them to inspire to do hard work with courage and hope. As gateways to knowledge and culture, libraries play a fundamental role in society. The resources and services they offer create opportunities for learning, support literacy and education, and help shape the new ideas and perspectives that are central to a creative and innovative society with the help of providing books on differrent subjects and areas.
Libraries provide the students very healthy environment for learning as well as making notes or
completing an assignment with the help of concerned subject books. Library provides a very calm and disciplined atmosphere which helps students to maintain a good concentration on their studies.
The objective or moto of World Book Day should be to promote reading for pleasure , offering every
child and young person the oportunity to have a book of their own and of their own interest. World Book Day changes lives through a love of books and shared reading..
