Crime Desk, Delhi – Magazine: British leader of Pakistani origin Lord Ahmed Nazir has been sentenced to five and a half years in prison by a London court after finding him guilty of rape. The special thing is that Nazir has been sentenced for raping two children. These include a boy and a girl. Although the incident dates back to the 1970s, however, the matter becomes serious because Nazir is a prominent leader of the Labor Party and has considerable clout among British Muslims.
Along with this, Nazir is also a very dear and close friend of the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan. Both have been seen together many times in London and then in Pakistan. According to reports, Imran also wanted to make Nazir, who was found guilty of rape, the chairman of the Kashmir Committee. Lord Nazir once wished PM Modi’s death and often used to spew venom against India regarding Kashmir. Not only this, Lord Nazir used to give his support to Khalistani terrorists while living in Britain.
Nazir was convicted in both the cases in January. The punishment has now been given. Crown Court Justice Lavender said that the children’s future was devastated by Nazir’s despicable act. According to the charge sheet, the age of the girl was between 16 and 17 at the time of the incident, while the boy was around 11 years old.
Nazir tried hard to escape from this case, but he failed to produce any evidence in his favor. Whereas, the children’s lawyers produced a phone recording before the court. The judge said- Your punishment is that you should now spend the fixed time behind the bars. The names of the two victims were not made public, but they had testified against Nazir in court.

Victim girl told the court- Nazir should not be spared. He is guilty of child sexual abuse and is a very shameless person. But, one day every sinner comes to an end. After the sentencing, Nazir shook his hand towards his family present in the court and then the police took him along. Nazir had resigned from the House of Lords two years ago. Then for the first time such allegations came against him.
The special thing is that two real brothers of Ahmed have similar allegations and the case is going on against them. The charges against Nazir along with his two brothers, Mohammad Farooq and Mohammad Tariq, have been found to be true. Both the brothers of Nazir were found unfit to appear in the trial due to their old age.
Lord Nazir Ahmed has a special relationship with Imran
The relationship between Lord Nazir and Imran Khan is not hidden from anyone. The two share a deep friendship and are said to have spent a lot of time together in London. Imran’s first wife Jemima has also been a friend of Nazir.
According to Pakistani journalist Gul Bukhari, Nazir had met Imran in Islamabad a few months back. Imran had said that Nazir would soon come to Pakistan and take over as the chairman of the Kashmir Committee.
