Experts anticipate that this infrastructure development will not only enhance India’s strategic position but also reduce the distance from China by ten kilometers. Moreover, it will significantly decrease travel time between four key army headquarters in Arunachal and Tawang, making the route between Bomdila and Tawang more accessible.
In addition to the inauguration of the Sela Tunnel, PM Modi will extend numerous gifts to Assam today, totaling Rs 18,000 crore. Among these gifts is the unveiling of the “Statue of Valor,” a 125-feet monument honoring the legendary Ahom General Lachit Barphukan. PM Modi will also launch several projects worth approximately Rs 18,000 crores in Melang Metelli, Pothar. These initiatives, particularly in the North-East, hold heightened significance during the election season.
