Who is Atiq Ahmed’s Wife Shaista Parveen?

Crime Desk, Delhi Magazine: Shaista Parveen is wife of late mafiya don and politician Atiq Ahmed. She is wanted criminal in UP in UmeshPal murder case. The UP police has also announced Rs. 50000  on her arrest. According to the allegations, Atiq’s wife Shaista Parveen was involved in the planning of the Umesh Pal murder. Shaista is alleged to have given Rs 1-1 lakh to her gangsters. Prayagraj police had launched a special operation in Kaushambi to find Shaista. However, even after lakhs of attempts, no trace of Shaista has been found. Uttar Pradesh Police is conducting search operations in several states along with Shaista’s relatives.

Born in a Muslim Poilce Constable Family

Shaista Parveen was born on 1 July 1972 in a Muslim family in Dhoomanganj, Prayagraj. Her father Mohammad Haroon was a police constable in UP. She lived in the police quarter with her father and family. Shaista is survived by four sisters and two brothers. Shaista is the eldest. One of her brothers is the principal of a madrassa. Another brother Zaki Ahmed is an active member in Atiq Ahmed Gang and currently in jail in Mohit Jaiswal Abduction case.

Shaista Parveen studied in Prayagraj. Her early life was spent in Pratapgarh. Shaista has done graduation.

Shaista and Atiq Ahmed Marriage

Shaista’s family and Atiq’s family already knew each other. When Shaista’s family members went to Atiq’s house with Shaista’s relationship, they had said yes to this relationship. Shaista was louder than before. She has also studied more than Atiq. And being the eldest of her siblings, she also knew how to take care of the house very well. In August 1996, Shaista got married to Atiq Ahmed. By this time Atiq had entered the world of crime.

Atiq Ahmed won his first election in the year 1996 from Allahabad West assembly seat on the support of Samajwadi Party. After winning the election, he married Shaista Parveen. Ateeq kept achieving success one after the other and wife Shaista Parveen stood by him like a shadow. Shaista gave birth to a total of 5 children. She remained as a skilled housewife till 2019 but when Atiq Ahmed was being shifted to jail from Gujarat in 2019, she came in front of the media for the first time. After her husband went to jail, she used to manage his illegal business. Now she is included in the list of mafias.

Shaista Parveen started her political career in September 2021 from Asaduddin Owaisi’s party AIMIM. After that when trouble came over Atiq, Shaista joined Mayawati’s party BSP in 2023.

But Shaista Parveen is absconding since the Umesh Pal murder case. Due to which BSP expelled Shaista from the party.

Along with this, Shaista is accused of giving shelter to Atiq’s henchmen. A case has also been registered against Shaista Parveen and her son Ali for making fake certificates. Shaista was seen at many places with shooters like Guddu Muslim and Sabir after Atiq’s henchmen were caught and CCTV footage came in Umesh murder case. On 24 February 2023, the police called Shaista for questioning in the Umesh Pal murder case. After which she is absconding.
