Diwali boom in America : President Trump celebrated Diwali in the Oval Office

Diwali was celebrated at the White House in the Oval office. President Donald Trump on Friday greeted the followers of Hindus, Jains, Sikhs and Buddhism on Diwali. He said that this festival shows that every class of people in America has got religious freedom. Top US lawmakers including Indian-origin MPs Kamala Harris, Pramila Jaipal, Raja Krishnamurthy, Ro Khanna and Ami Bera gave a message of being positive in life by celebrating Diwali on Friday.

In the White House, Trump said that his administration will strive to protect the rights of people of all religions as per the constitution. He said that on Diwali, I and my wife Melania wish you all the best in this festival of light.

He also said that this festival is an occasion for the followers of Hindu, Jain, Sikh and Buddhism present in America and around the world. This festival gives the message of the victory of truth over darkness, knowledge over ignorance and good over evil. Which gives people the message of victory of truth over darkness. Indian-American MP Raja Krishnamurthy said that this festival symbolizes the victory of light over darkness and the victory of good over evil.
